Keeping Time
My mom bought me this clock when I was but a young one- perhaps three or four years old- and I couldn't bring myself to part with it until today. The clock says "Made in the U.S.A." on its face and comforted me with a companionable presence that lulled me into childhood dreams of chocolate ice cream and monarch butterflies. Goodnight Mr. Clock.
